Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Leeds (Hybrid Working Available)

Salary: Circa £65,000 + Benefits

The Company

Our client is a specialist contractor delivering fit out and refurbishment projects nationwide across a diverse range of sectors including Early Years, Sports & Leisure, Retail, Hospitality, Commercial, and specialist environments.

With a strong reputation for quality delivery and collaborative project teams, the business continues to expand and is now looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support its growing project portfolio.

The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial delivery of projects, working closely with project teams to ensure schemes are delivered profitably, efficiently, and with strong commercial control.

This is a fast-paced, detail-driven position where you will be involved in key commercial decisions, supporting projects from early stages through to final account.

The role offers hybrid working alongside the opportunity to work on varied and interesting projects across multiple sectors nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the commercial aspects of fit out and refurbishment projects from pre-construction through to completion


• Preparing and managing project budgets, cost plans, and financial reporting


Procurement and management of subcontractor packages


• Assessing and processing valuations, variations, and final accounts


• Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle


• Working closely with project managers and operational teams to support project delivery


• Supporting decision-making that protects project margins and commercial performance


• Ensuring projects are delivered in line with contractual and financial expectations


Requirements

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction, fit out, or refurbishment projects


• Strong commercial awareness and cost management skills


• Experience managing subcontractor procurement and financial reporting


• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment


• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills


• Collaborative approach to working with project and delivery teams
