Contract: Full Time Salary: £13.50 Per Hour Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: Full TimeApthorp Care Centre is a specialist care home in Barnet, North London supporting adults with complex nursing needs, dementia and mental health conditions. The home offers 119 purpose designed bedrooms across three floors and provides complex nursing care, specialist dementia support and residential mental health care within a safe, structured and supportive environment focused on dignity, stability and wellbeing.

- Full time contract
- Pension, Paid DBS, Uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full time contract
The Role
As Activities Lead, you will design and deliver engaging activities that support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents.
You will organise individual and group activities that are tailored to residents living with complex health needs, dementia and mental health conditions, encouraging participation and meaningful engagement.
Working closely with the care team, you will help ensure residents remain socially connected and supported through a varied and stimulating activities programme.
Your role will help promote wellbeing and improve quality of life for residents across the home.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience planning activities within a care environment is desirable
- Creative and enthusiastic approach to activities
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A compassionate and person centred approach
