St Patrick’s RC Primary School is seeking a dedicated, compassionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our warm and welcoming school community. We are proud of our inclusive ethos, our commitment to nurturing every child, and our strong partnership between staff, families and parish.
The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support high‑ quality learning across the curriculum, helping to create a stimulating, safe and purposeful environment where all pupils can thrive. You will support learners in small groups, provide one‑to‑one support, facilitate learning in authentic contexts, support classroom preparation and the delivery of engaging learning activities. A passion for supporting children’s wellbeing, resilience and confidence is essential.
We are looking for someone who:
● Builds positive relationships with pupils and staff
● Demonstrates patience, initiative and a caring, respectful approach
● Is committed to our Catholic values and the wider life of the school
● Works well as part of a team and is willing to contribute flexibly to school life
Previous experience in a school or childcare setting is desirable but not essential.
