Grade 3 SCP 6 to 11 £25,989 - £28,142.
Actual salary £13,309 to £14,411
17.5 hours per week: 7.45 am 9 am and 3:15 pm 5.30 pm, Monday Friday with an extra 5 hours per week admin to be worked flexibly.
Possibility of additional hours as a TA in school or Office Admin
Term time only.
St. John’s CE, Thornham provides an inclusive and caring environment for children aged 4 - 11. The Before and After School Club is an integral and vibrant part of our school.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Breakfast and After School Club Leader on a permanent basis, who will provide a secure, engaging and fun environment, with a range of activities for children aged 4 11.
The Club Leader will work with children on an individual and group basis, supervise a small team of Playworkers and manage the club’s administration and payments. The role includes planning engaging activities linked to children’s interests, as well as seasonal themes, festivals, and celebrations. The Club Leader will plan and organise healthy snacks for the week, build positive relationships with children and their families, and ensure dedicated administration time to organise attendance records and fees.
The successful candidate must have NVQ Level 3 in Play work / Childcare, an understanding of OFSTED requirements, have previous experience of working in a childcare setting and excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
