The Governors and Headteacher of Arden Primary School are seeking applications from a highly organised, motivated and professional individual to join our school as Business Manager.

This is a key leadership role within the school. As a member of the Leadership Team, the Business Manager plays a vital part in ensuring the effective day-to-day operation of the school’s business and administrative functions. The successful candidate will work closely with the Headteacher and Governors to ensure that the school’s resources are managed efficiently and that systems and procedures support the delivery of high-quality education for all pupils.

The Business Manager is responsible for overseeing a wide range of operational areas including financial management, human resources administration, premises management, health and safety, compliance and the effective organisation of administrative services.

The role also involves managing and developing support staff, coordinating contracts and services with external providers and ensuring that the school operates efficiently, transparently and in line with statutory requirements. Working collaboratively with staff, governors and external agencies, the Business Manager supports the strategic leadership of the school and contributes to its ongoing improvement and success.
