Known for their exceptionally positive workplace culture and collaborative environment, they deliver a diverse portfolio of projects across both the public and private sectors-including commercial offices, education, healthcare, leisure and specialist refurbishments.
Due to sustained project wins and a strong pipeline for 2026 and beyond, they are now looking to appoint an ambitious Project Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

Your New Role

As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key commercial role across multiple fast‑paced fit‑out and refurbishment projects up to £5million. Working closely with senior commercial leaders and project delivery teams, you will be responsible for:

  • Cost planning, measurement and tender support
  • Managing subcontractor procurement and contract administration
  • Preparing and reviewing valuations and variations
  • Cost reporting and forecasting
  • Ensuring projects are delivered profitably and to high commercial standards
  • Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners

This role offers exposure to a wide mix of schemes and the opportunity to take ownership of your projects while enjoying the support of an experienced, close‑knit commercial team.

What You'll Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction, ideally with a background in fit‑out or refurbishment (not essential)
  • Strong commercial and contractual awareness
  • Ability to manage several live projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • A proactive, solution‑oriented approach
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent professional experience

Most importantly, cultural fit is central-this contractor champions collaboration, trust, flexibility and a modern approach to work.
What You'll Get in Return

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career with a contractor genuinely invested in the growth and wellbeing of its people. You will receive:

  • A highly competitive salary and benefits package
  • Genuine progression opportunities within a growing business
  • A supportive management team and positive working culture
  • Exposure to varied, interesting and high‑quality projects
  • Flexibility between Edinburgh, Glasgow and site locations
