From early‑stage planning and design through to operational delivery and long‑term support, the organisation works with clients around the world to provide cohesive, high‑quality solutions.

Your New Role

In this role, you will act as a trusted partner to managers, offering proactive and practical support on a broad range of people matters. You will ensure all HR activity is handled efficiently, accurately, and in line with organisational expectations and statutory obligations.

  • Providing timely guidance to managers on day‑to‑day people issues, ensuring decisions are consistent, well‑informed, and compliant.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of people initiatives that contribute to the organisation's strategic aims.
  • Maintaining high standards of HR service delivery while balancing operational needs and longer‑term priorities.
  • Playing an active role in organisational change activity, including restructuring, workforce movements, and other transformation programmes.
  • Contributing to activities that strengthen engagement and enhance the employee experience.
  • Ensuring employee data is accurate and reliable to enable effective planning, reporting, and insight generation.
  • Analysing trends across key HR topics such as performance, conduct, attendance, and employee concerns.
  • Upholding organised, compliant, and efficient HR administrative processes.
  • Partnering with colleagues across the wider team to support shared goals and organisational outcomes.
  • Delivering short‑notice briefings, coaching, and training to managers and employees when needed.
  • Supporting annual reward activities by preparing data and documentation.
  • Taking ownership of ad‑hoc HR projects that arise across the year.
  • Adapting quickly to evolving organisational requirements and shifting business priorities.
  • Carrying out any additional responsibilities that align with the needs of the organisation.

What You'll Need to Succeed

You will bring:

  • Demonstrable experience operating at Senior HR Advisor level (or equivalent) within a high‑demand, multi‑stakeholder setting.
  • Strong experience working with trade unions in a unionised environment - this is essential.
  • Confidence in advising managers on employee relations cases, performance matters, policy, reporting, and project‑based activity.
  • A solid track record of supporting organisational change and managing large or complex caseloads.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build effective, trusted relationships.
  • Outstanding organisation, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work autonomously while also contributing collaboratively to wider team objectives.
  • Strong competence in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
  • A CIPD qualification (or equivalent experience) alongside up‑to‑date working knowledge of relevant UK employment legislation.
