Shift Technician - RF Testing
Fareham, Hampshire (PO15)
Rotating Shifts: 10am-10pm / 10pm-10am | 4 on / 4 off
Are you a hands-on Electrical/Electronic Technician ready to join a cutting-edge test facility? We're looking for Shift Technicians to work alongside engineers and technical specialists performing RF (Radio Frequency) testing in a brand-new, state-of-the-art laboratory.
This is a dynamic, 24/7 shift-based role, offering the chance to develop your technical expertise while contributing to high-profile testing projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Performing RF testing using industry-standard equipment and customer-specific test plans
- Working as part of a team delivering 24/7 testing services on a rotating shift pattern
- Monitoring and maintaining calibration and test equipment
- Collaborating closely with Project Managers and other technical staff
- Accurately recording and reporting test results according to quality procedures
- Interacting with customers during attended testing sessions
Who We're Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or practical engineering experience
- Hands-on experience with RF test equipment, such as spectrum analysers or oscilloscopes
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Motivated, enthusiastic, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Conscientious, with strong interpersonal and customer skills
- Able to document results accurately and maintain quality standards
- Comfortable working rotating 24/7 shifts and able to travel to site independently
