Vegetable Packers: £12.64 per hour
Line Leaders: £13.13 per hour
Supervisors: £14.32 per hour
Own transport is required due to location
We are currently recruiting Vegetable Packers, Line Leaders, and Supervisors to join one of our clients based in the outskirts of Newark. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced fresh produce pack house where full training and development opportunities are available.

Vegetable Packer – £12.64ph
Working within a modern fresh produce pack house, you will be responsible for preparing vegetables to customer specifications while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Duties
• Packing fresh vegetables
• Grading and quality checking produce
• Inspecting products to meet customer standards
• Working on fast-paced production lines
• Moving stock safely around the factory
• Box making, labelling, re-labelling and packing finished goods
Key Responsibilities
• Maintaining excellent attention to detail
• Working towards daily production targets
• Communicating effectively with team members
• Ensuring a smooth and efficient packing process
• Following all health and safety procedures
Line Leader – £13.13ph
The Line Leader will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a production line, ensuring productivity, quality standards, and team performance are maintained.
Duties
• Leading and coordinating a team of packers on the production line
• Ensuring production targets and quality standards are met
• Monitoring product quality and reporting any issues
• Allocating tasks and supporting team members during the shift
• Ensuring all staff follow health and safety procedures
• Assisting with training new starters
• Reporting production updates to supervisors or management
Key Skills
• Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment
• Leadership or team coordination experience preferred
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Supervisor – £14.32ph
The Production Supervisor will oversee multiple packing lines and ensure efficient daily operations across the production area.
Duties
• Supervising production teams and line leaders
• Monitoring productivity, quality, and operational performance
• Coordinating staff allocation and shift planning
• Ensuring all food safety and health & safety procedures are followed
• Managing production issues and resolving operational challenges
• Reporting performance and production metrics to management
• Supporting training and development of staff
Key Skills
• Previous supervisory experience in production, manufacturing, or food processing
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills
• Excellent organisation and communication abilities
• Ability to manage teams in a fast-paced production environment
Experience
Previous experience within a warehouse, food production, or manufacturing environment is beneficial but not essential for packer roles as full training will be provided.
