We are looking for care assistants who are outgoing, enthusiastic, patient and empathetic. Our service user enjoys engaging in conversation and building positive, long‑term relationships with their carers.
They have achieved a great deal in life, including completing A Levels and University while battling cancer, and have volunteered extensively to support others. Due to ongoing health challenges, they now require consistent support from carers who are proactive, resilient, and compassionate.
The role involves high levels of manual handling, including assisting with community outings and pushing a wheelchair, so being physically capable is important. A full UK driving licence is essential, as you will drive the service user's vehicle when accessing the community.
Our service user enjoys still‑life photography and cooking, and would welcome support in exploring local activities and preparing nutritious meals. Bringing new ideas and activities will help improve their wellbeing and strengthen the carer-service user bond.
Benefits:
