Are you an organised, detail‑focused individual with experience in payroll? We’re looking for a Part-Time Payroll Clerk to join our team and support the smooth and accurate processing of our payroll operations.
About the RoleIn this part-time position, you’ll work 26 hours per week from our office over 4 working days. While we offer flexibility with the remaining days and hours, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are essential due to payroll processing requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Process weekly/monthly payroll accurately and on time
• Maintain payroll records and update employee information
• Manage holiday, sickness and absence calculations
• Handle payroll queries from employees
• Produce payroll reports as required
• Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and company policies
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
• Previous Payroll or Account Payable experience (essential)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good working knowledge of payroll systems and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
• 31 days holiday, increasing to 33 days after 2 years of service plus have your birthday off
