This is a full-time fixed term position until 16th October to cover Maternity leave.

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Project Administrator to join DATAMIND on a 6-month maternity cover basis. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a nationally significant mental health research programme while gaining valuable experience within a complex, multi-partner environment.

DATAMIND is a UK-wide Mental Health Research Hub and a £7M+ multi-partner programme bringing together 11 universities, charities and People with Lived Experience. Our work is transforming how mental health data is accessed and used to improve care, inform policy and accelerate research into suicide and self-harm prevention.

Working closely with the Programme Manager, partners across the four Nations and Communications & Engagement team, you will play a central role in supporting project governance, stakeholder coordination, reporting and financial monitoring. You will help ensure the programme meets key milestones, funder requirements and strategic objectives, while maintaining accurate project documentation and supporting meetings and events.

This is a hybrid role based at Singleton Campus, offering a blend of on-campus and remote working to support flexibility and work-life balance.

The role offers valuable professional experience within Swansea University’s APM-accredited project management environment, providing insight into structured project governance and delivery practices, alongside experience supporting a large-scale funded research programme and working with partners across the UK..

This position would suit someone with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and experience in project or programme administration who is looking to broaden their experience in the research and higher education sector.

If you are motivated by work that delivers meaningful societal impact and are ready to contribute to a collaborative, forward-thinking team, we encourage you to apply.
