Garden Centre Team Member – Plants Goods In
Full Time 36 Hours Per Week Including Weekends.
At British Garden Centres, not only do we aim to deliver a great experience in our Centres, but we go above and beyond in creating an exceptional customer service experience too.
We are looking for a Garden Centre Team Member Plants Goods In, you will be the heart of our operations and ensuring customers have the best experience in store.
You will need to be physically fit as some heavy lifting and moving involved. The job will require working outdoors in all weather conditions and moving heavy loaded trolleys through the plant department. Including full weekends, Bank Holidays, and holiday cover.

Skills required:
• Basic knowledge of horticulture.
• The role does involve heavy lifting and pulling large trollies so you must be physically fit.
• Good communication skills and able to work as part of a team.
• Work well under pressure.
• Professionalism and reliability.
• Good time management.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic with a drive to succeed.
Duties will include:
• Pricing, displaying.
• Ensuring all plants are booked in accordingly from the warehouse
• Quality customer service.
• General housekeeping.
• Loading and Unloading CC trolleys
• Booking in plant deliveries and wastages
• Basic plant knowledge (preferable)
• Working closely with the Warehouse Team and the Garden Centre Team to ensure stock is managed efficiently.
