Summary
We are urgently looking for an experienced Locum Substance Misuse/Detox Nurse to join our client's team in Bromley. If you are interested, please read the details below:
Location: Bromley, South London.Hours: Two days per week between Mon to Fri 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM (you can choose which days you'd like to work)Dates: ASAP 6 months (Temporary Contract will be reviewed after 6 months)Pay Rate: £33/hr (PAYE) or £37/hr (Umbrella)
Your new role To undertake Health and Wellbeing assessmentsTo undertake Nurse Alcohol Assessments and determine safe detoxificationTo assist in the titration process for opioid usersTo provide screening for BBV, through dry blood spot testingProvide Hepatitis A and or B vaccinations when indicated.To refer to specialist inpatient servicesTo offer wound care assessment and basic wound dressing
Essential Qualifications and Experience
Current NMC registrationPrevious experience in a similar role at a Drug Treatment service, forensics, prison or other similar backgroundStrong communication and teamwork skills.
