Year 5 - Year 9

Up to one year fixed term

Paid to scale from Day one plus SEN Allowance. MPS1-6 (UPS Considered) England

Our partner SEN School in Braintree is recruiting a Complex Needs Teacher to cover maternity from the May Half Term. The school was recently graded by Ofsted under the new framework as Expected Standard across the board with particular note of this regarding curriculum and teaching; 'Leaders review and refine the curriculum carefully so that it remains relevant to pupils' needs. It rightly prioritises developing pupils' communication and helping them to manage their emotions, whether through spoken language or picture-based approaches. Learning is personalised, with each pupil working towards the long-term goals in their education, health and care plan, and, where relevant, their personalised education plan.'

Students present with various needs including ASD. The school is friendly and supportive and the role will be challenging and rewarding.
