Lalys Pharmacy is a long-established independent community pharmacy with 16 branches across the South. We are looking for a pharmacist to work in our branch in Botley High Street.
Salary up to £65k pro rata depending on experience
Work Pattern: Monday & Tuesday 9:00-17:30, Saturday 9:00-12:00 (20 hours):
Person specification:
– GPhC registered
– Able to provide high-quality care and customer service
– Capable of the safe, legal and effective day-to-day running of a community pharmacy
– Must have the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with patients and customers, with integrity & compassion
– You will be required to build good team working relationships, encourage learning and development and manage staff with the support of the Branch Lead & HR
– Leadership skills
– Community pharmacist experience preferred, but not essential
Key responsibilities:
– Dispense prescription medication accurately & in a timely manner
– Adhere to legal & ethical guidelines and compliance, updating knowledge & skills as necessary
– Ensure patient and branch records are kept accurate & up to date in accordance with any deadlines
– Provide expert advice on medication, potential side effects, and interactions to patients
– Educate patients on proper medication use, such as dosage, timing, and storage instructions
– Provide various patient services, e.g. vaccinations & the Pharmacy First services
– Support branch-level HR operations withing your team
