Role Definition:
To keep all areas of the home clean, tidy and free of odours. To work to the prescribed cleaning schedule.
Core Responsibilities & Duties:
• Cleaning of the home as per the prescribed schedule.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times
• Undertake induction training and participate in training programs that may be required by law or the Home’s standards.
• Abide by the Home’s security precautions at all times.
• Comply with regulations with respect to Health & Safety at Work, COSHH, Environmental Health and fire procedures, etc, and abide by the Home’s Health & Safety Policy.
• Promptly report all complaints, however minor, to the Nurse in Charge.
• Attend meetings as required by the management.
• Be courteous and polite at all times.
• Develop good relations with residents and visitors
• Promote the good care of the Home and the Company at all times
• Co-operate and maintain good working relationships with all staff.
• Undertake other duties as may be reasonably required in order to maintain the smooth running of the home.
