We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within various settings, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where customer satisfaction and attention to detail are paramount. Previous experience in janitorial services, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is advantageous, alongside skills in cooking and customer service.
Duties
Clean and sanitise designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms and communal spaces
Change bed linens and organise supplies as needed
Ensure all surfaces are dust-free and floors are swept, mopped, or vacuumed to a high standard
Restock toiletries, towels, and other amenities to meet guest or client expectations
Assist with laundry duties including washing, drying, and folding linen and clothing
Respond promptly to any cleaning requests or special instructions from management or clients
Maintain health and safety standards throughout all cleaning activities
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs courteously and professionally
Requirements
Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is preferred
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Organised with excellent attention to detail
Physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Flexibility to work various shifts as required; weekend availability is advantageous
A proactive approach to health and safety regulations within the workplace
