Crynodeb
An exciting opportunity has arisen, based at our Swallow trials site, as we are currently looking to recruit harvest workers to join our business on a full-time temporary basis through the harvest time (July to September / October). The successful individual will also co-ordinate and deliver a high standard of production, quality/quantity and excellent customer service across Grain storage and handling whilst creating and maintaining a great place to work culture.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Preparation of seed, drilling and establishing plots at our trial sites
To help in the preparation planning and application of inputs and sprays as required
To monitor crops to ensure treatments are applied accurately and on time
To assist in plant and soil sampling and disease assessments as required
To ensure trial protocols are adhered to
To ensure plots are harvested on time and correct grain samples taken and sent for testing
To deliver trials to agreed protocols within strict time frames
Collate and enter trial data into research management programmes
Requirements
Conscientious with proven attention to detail
A flexible approach to working hours due to seasonal demands, including evenings and weekends.
A full driving licence
Adhere to health and safety policies
Skills and Experience:
No previous experience is required.
