The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead and manage our Information Technology Systems team, providing clear and concise guidance and support across this function. NMIS as a national centre for advanced manufacturing, comprises multiple business units including the recently developed National Semi-Conductor Packaging Innovation Centre (NASPIC) as well as remote sites in Irvine, Sheffield and Aberdeen (2026).

The IT systems function supports all units/sites as well as NMIS operational, technology, and commercial support teams.
The post will hold a high level of both technical and financial responsibility for team resources and extensive multimillion pound budget management. It will also include budget approval for large and time sensitive items, delivering reports and IT system recommendations to NMIS leadership team, COO and CEO.
