We are seeking aChildren’s Universal SPA Administratorto join our dedicated team based inWembleyon apermanent full time basis (37.5 hours per week).
The post holder will be a key member of the Children’s UniversalSingle Point of Access (SPA)team, supporting clinical services by managing and coordinating the daily demand of referrals, calls, and child health records. The team plays a vital role in ensuring that referrals are processed efficiently and prioritised appropriately to support safe and timely access to services.
The SPA team is responsible for processing and registering new referrals, booking clinics, updating waiting lists, and communicating appointment related information to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals. The team works to ensure referrals are managed safely through the system, urgent needs are highlighted to the appropriate clinical teams, and services are coordinated effectively to provide the best possible care.
The Children’s Universal SPA operatesMonday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (excluding bank holidays). The successful candidate will work37.5 hours per week within these operational hours.

• Process new referrals in line with local Standard Operating Protocols (SOPs), ensuring accuracy and timely handling.
• Book clinics and appointments, managing cancellations, rescheduling, and amendments promptly.
• Maintain and update patient health records in accordance with local procedures and data governance standards.
• Use electronic patient record systems to input and retrieve patient information, ensuring all data is recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
• Handle incoming calls to the Single Point of Access, using telephony systems and relevant computer software to respond to queries and direct referrals appropriately.
• Provide administrative support to the wider ONW SPA teams when required to ensure the smooth running of the service.
