Job description:
Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, order, and hygiene of private homes.
This includes tasks like dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing kitchens and bathrooms, washing windows, and emptying trash. Cleaners must have a strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a good work ethic while using cleaning supplies safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
• Surface Cleaning:
Dusting furniture, light fixtures, and other surfaces, as well as washing windows and mirrors.
• Floor Care:
Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors to remove dirt and keep them clean.
• Kitchen & Bathroom Sanitation:
Thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting sinks, countertops, appliances, toilets, and showers.
• General Tidying:
Emptying trash and recycling bins, making beds, and changing linens.
• Equipment Maintenance:
Safely using cleaning supplies and equipment, and keeping equipment clean and in good working order.
• Client Communication:
Understanding and fulfilling client preferences, communicating effectively about cleaning needs, and maintaining a positive customer experience.
Qualifications & Skills
• Attention to Detail: A strong eye for detail to ensure all areas are cleaned to a high standard.
• Reliability: Punctuality, honest and a strong work ethic are crucial for consistent service.
• Independence: The ability to work with minimal supervision, manage time effectively, and complete tasks efficiently.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform tasks that require standing, kneeling, and carrying cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Customer Service: Good communication skills to interact professionally with clients and address their needs.
• Safety Awareness: Familiarity with safety protocols for handling cleaning products and maintaining a safe environment.
• Driver's License: Often required for transportation to client homes
