We’re looking for compassionate and reliable people to join our friendly team as Care Assistants (Care Professionals) to join our amazing team at Home Instead West Lancashire and Chorley
Location: Covering West Lancashire areas - Ormskirk, Skelmersdale, Tarleton, Rainford, Aughton, Rufford, Burscough, Upholland, Parbold.
Pay: Home Instead pay all Care Assistants the same rate , from aged 18+, at £14.00ph , the same hourly rate £14.00ph applies with overnight calls, both sleeping and or waking. From the 1st April 2026 this will increase to £15.00ph.
Hours: We offer contracted and or zero hour, contracts, to match your work life balance. Our services operate predominantly across a two-shift system 7am- 2pm and or 3pm - 10pm.

What You’ll Do
As a Care Assistant, you’ll support clients in their own homes with:
Help to keep Clients safe and secure in their own homes
Building trusted relationships and sharing meaningful moments together
Encouraging independence, wellbeing, and meeting individual’s actual needs
Supporting personal care routines with dignity and kindness
Assisting with medication reminders and preparing nutritious meals
You’ll have time to deliver high-quality, unhurried care and build meaningful relationships with each person you visit.

Reliable and trustworthy
A full UK driving license and reliable means of transport
No qualifications required and full training provided
Must be available to work alternate weekends
