SEMH Teaching Assistant
Full-Time | Long-Term Temporary Role | Start ASAP

We are currently seeking a dedicated and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary alternative provision on a full-time, long-term basis.

The school provides a calm, structured, and nurturing environment where pupils benefit from clear routines, strong pastoral support, and positive relationships with staff. The team works collaboratively to maintain high expectations, helping pupils feel safe, motivated, and ready to learn. Students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs respond particularly well to consistent, patient approaches that encourage engagement, build confidence, and support both academic and personal progress.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting young people and helping them re-engage with education.
