Are you a proactive sales professional who thrives on identifying new opportunities and building strong, long-term client relationships? Do you have the drive to open new doors, grow accounts, and exceed ambitious targets? If so, we want to hear from you.
Our client is a well-established supplier of automotive parts and components with over 25 years of experience serving customers across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to help expand their customer base and strengthen their market presence within the automotive sector.
Key Responsibilities as a Business Development Executive:
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across the UK.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
- Manage and grow key accounts to maximise long-term revenue.
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Prepare quotes, source parts, and support customers throughout the sales process.
- Deliver excellent service from initial contact through to after-sales support.
- Monitor account performance and provide monthly reports with recommendations for growth.
- Split time between the office and visiting customers nationwide.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction.
Requirements for this Business Development Executive role:
- A driven, target-focused sales professional with a passion for business development.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational and planning abilities.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team.
- Previous experience in the automotive industry or a similar sales role is essential.
- Technical knowledge of automotive parts would be a strong advantage.
- Competent in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with reporting and tracking performance.
