ESSENTIAL
• Degree or equivalent
• Qualified teacher status
• Teaching English Language and English Literature up to GCSE
• Excellent subject knowledge
• Evidence of excellent classroom management and engagement
• Excellent personal organisational skills
• Fluent communicator
• Ability to use ICT for teaching and learning and in the tracking and monitoring of student learning
DESIRABLE
• The ability to teach English Literature to A level
• Knowledge of recent curriculum development
• Experience of applying Rosenshine's Principles of Instruction

We require an ambitious, innovative and creative practitioner (ECT or experienced) to teach English Language and English Literature to GCSE. The ability to teach English Literature to A level would be an advantage.
