‘A Family Committed to Making a Difference’
The pupils of Friezland Primary School are looking for a Headteacher who:
• will inspire us to aim high and achieve our goals;
• believes in our potential to achieve great things;
• is energetic and has a sense of humour;
• is firm but fair and
• makes time to listen to our ideas about school life.
Friezland is a small, semi-rural Foundation School with 100 pupils on roll and is part of the Dovestone Learning Partnership (DLP). It is based in the picturesque Saddleworth Village of Greenfield but is within close distance to several towns and major cities. Friezland is highly regarded as a very happy, friendly school where staff and children enjoy good relationships. We pride ourselves on our friendly community ethos where everyone works hard to ensure the best outcomes for our children.
The school’s last graded Ofsted outcome was ‘Good’, a recent ungraded Inspection identified some areas for improvement, therefore the Governors are seeking to appoint a highly enthusiastic and innovative Headteacher to lead the school forward in maintaining the ‘Good’ standard with a view to becoming an outstanding school in the future.
