What skills and experience we're looking for
Morley Newlands Academy is seeking to recruit an inspirational colleague to the role of Assistant Site Manager. This role is of great importance to our work as an Academy. The successful candidate would be expected to oversee external contractors working on site and also assist in the provision of maintenance and security services on school premises, thereby ensuring a safe working environment. The post holder will work under the direct supervision and line management of the Site Manager. The post is subject to a six-month probationary period.
Potential applicants should have:
• A Manual handling qualification.
• Time management skills, including the ability to work to deadlines.
• The ability to carry out basic repairs, including minor plumbing, unblocking drains, repairing furniture.
• Experience of working within a site supervisory role.
