• Salary: £29,583 - £41,964 per annum (Dependent on qualifications and experience)
• Actual salary: £17,749 - £25,178 per annum

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Lecturer in Automotive to teach and develop a wide range of programmes from Entry Level 3 to Level 3, covering full-time provision and apprenticeships, with the potential to contribute to future T-Level delivery. You will play a key role in shaping high-quality learning experiences for students across varied age groups and abilities.

You will teach and assess on programmes including IMI Levels 1–3 Diplomas, City & Guilds apprenticeship routes with End Point Assessment, school links and home-educated learners. The role involves contributing to curriculum development, producing learning materials, attending course meetings and supporting departmental marketing and events. You will liaise with employers, verifiers and industry partners, mentor new staff and take an active role in the delivery of short courses. A commitment to ongoing professional development, safe working practices and full engagement in the wider life of the department is essential.

We are looking for an organised and enthusiastic professional with strong communication and practical skills, relevant automotive industry experience and a Level 3 qualification or equivalent. Teaching experience and relevant teaching qualifications are desirable, but full training will be provided to those willing to work towards one.
