Temporary (12 Month Contract)
Band 4 Point 12 (£28,598 - Full Time Equivalent)
Actual Salary £16,285
Part Time 24 Hours Per Week 7:30am 9:00am & 2:45pm - 6:00pm - Term Time Only
The governors of Woodhouse Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and highly motivated Wraparound Care Manager to join our vibrant and nurturing Wraparound Care provision.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Wraparound Care Manager to lead and develop our Breakfast and After School provision for pupils in EYFS, KS1 and KS2. This is an exciting opportunity to shape high-quality wraparound care within a welcoming Trafford primary school.
About the Role
As Wraparound Care Manager, you will:
Lead, supervise and support a team of wraparound staff
Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the provision
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities for children aged 311
Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and EYFS welfare requirements are consistently met
Manage registers, bookings, staffing rotas and parent communication
Maintain a safe, inclusive and well-organised environment
Oversee smooth transitions between the school day and wraparound provision
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who:
Holds a recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Playwork, Early Years or a relevant field
Has proven managerial experience, including supervising and leading staff
Has experience working with children across EYFS and primary phases
Has leadership or supervisory experience
Demonstrates strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Can plan creative, stimulating activities for mixed age groups
Is highly organised, proactive and able to use their initiative
Desirable:
Paediatric First Aid qualification
Safeguarding training
Food Hygiene certificate
