MAKE A MEANINGFUL DIFFERENCE EVERY DAY
We are looking for compassionate, dependable, and proactive Support Workers to join a supportive team providing care for a gentleman living with a spinal cord injury in the Redruth area.
This gentleman enjoys gardening, spending time outdoors, watching cricket, socialising, and spending time with his family, so were looking for someone who is friendly, engaging, and enjoys helping others live life to the fullest.
He lives at home with his wife, young son, and their dog, so applicants should be comfortable around pets and enjoy being part of a relaxed family environment. Please also note that the client vapes and occasionally smokes.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dedicated and motivated care team, supporting someone to maintain independence and continue enjoying the activities that matter most to him. While experience supporting individuals with spinal cord injuries would be beneficial, it is not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.
Were looking for people who are passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and who want to build a rewarding career supporting others.
A full UK driving licence is essential, and applicants must be willing to drive the clients adapted vehicle.

LOCATION:
o Redruth
ROLES AVAILABLE:
o Part time - 2 shifts per week working a mix of days and waking nights
SHIFT PATTERN:
o Day Shifts: 08:00-22:00
o Waking Night Shifts: 20:00-09:30
o Bank Holidays and weekend work will form part of the rota
PAY RATES:
o £15.00 per hour weekday rate
o £16.00 per hour waking night rate
o £16.00 per hour weekend day rate
o £17.00 per hour weekend waking night rate
o DOUBLE TIME FOR BANK HOLIDAYS
o Rates are paid £1.00 per hour less during probationary period
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Deliver high-quality personal care and daily living support
o Assist with mobility, transfers, and specialist equipment
o Support social activities, rehabilitation, and community outings and holidays
o Promote independence, dignity, and choice
o Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide consistent, person-centred care
IDEAL SUPPORT WORKER:
ESSENTIAL:
o Caring, respectful and patient
o Team player with a positive and proactive approach
o Previous care experience
o Flexible and reliable
o Comfortable around pets
o A full, clean driving licence and willingness to drive the clients adapted vehicle
PREFERRED:
o Previous experience of complex care and/or spinal cord injuries
