Working within a supportive and forward‑thinking environment, you'll play a key role in ensuring homes are safe, compliant and ready for occupation.
Your new role
As a Void Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing a patch of approximately 1,100 properties across Dorset and Poole. Working within a team of four, you will carry out move‑out inspections, complete snagging on works delivered by subcontractors, and ensure all void properties meet the required move‑in standards.
Reporting to the Delivery Manager, you will manage the day‑to‑day coordination of void maintenance works, lead quality checks, and liaise closely with internal teams and service partners. The role is ideal for someone with a hands‑on background who is ready to transition into a leadership position and expand their supervisory skillset.
Your duties will include:
- Managing daily void operations to ensure service targets are met
- Conducting work‑in‑progress checks and final inspections
- Completing minor works when required
- Leading, motivating and supporting team members
- Managing subcontractor performance and ensuring high-quality workmanship
- Monitoring KPIs, SLAs and customer satisfaction levels
- Conducting site audits and ensuring full health & safety compliance
- Supporting supply chain performance improvements
- Acting as an escalation point for occasional out‑of‑hours issues

- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A flexible approach and the ability to work across multiple locations
- Good IT skills and confidence using digital systems
- Knowledge of schedules of rates (SORs)
- Relevant health & safety training
- A full UK driving licence (company vehicle provided)
You'll also demonstrate integrity, a customer‑focused mindset, and a caring, collaborative leadership style.
What you'll get in return
This role offers the opportunity to join a stable organisation delivering a long‑term national contract, with significant opportunity for progression and personal development. You'll be supported as you build your leadership capability and contribute to improving the quality of accommodation across a large, meaningful portfolio.
Benefits include:
- Company vehicle & fuel card
- Up to 6% contributory pension
- 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays
- Volunteer leave
- One paid professional subscription
- Life Assurance
- A collaborative, values‑driven working environment
