Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Temporary HIAB Driver (Category C) to work in the South Shields area. This role involves operating a lorry-mounted crane (HIAB) to safely load, transport, and unload building materials at various delivery sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate lorry-mounted cranes (HIAB) to load and unload heavy materials such as aggregates, timber, and bricks.
• Ensure safe handling and secure transportation of materials.
• Carry out deliveries to construction sites, merchants, and customer locations.
• Perform daily vehicle and equipment safety checks.
• Comply with all relevant health & safety regulations and transport legislation.
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers and site staff.

Requirements:

• Valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
• HIAB certification (with remote or hook attachment experience preferred).
• Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card.
• Previous experience delivering building materials is advantageous.
• Strong awareness of site safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
