Four Acres Academy is seeking a motivated teaching assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the learning, independence and wellbeing of pupils, ensuring every child is able to access the curriculum, take part in learning, and experience success.
Initially you will support a delightful child with autism, who attends our nurture base in the mornings and re-joins his class for the afternoons. This role will continue until the pupil moves to another setting (although these are no plans for this at present). At this point, the successful candidate will be deployed in line with current needs at the school.

We’re looking for someone who:
•Good standard of education (5 x GCSE’s – English and Maths C or above) or equivalent qualification/experience
•Ability to plan and implement effective actions for children at risk of underachieving
•Natural communicator with the ability to relate well to both children and adults
•Shares our belief that every child deserves the very best opportunities
