We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our Estates & Facilities team as a Business and Finance Support Officer. This is a pivotal data‑focused role, providing the insight, scrutiny and reporting that underpin effective financial and operational decision‑making across the E&F function. This is not an IT data analyst role; it is a specialised Estates & Facilities data and performance role that requires a strong understanding of financial reporting, operational performance, ERIC requirements and contractor oversight within an NHS Estates & Facilities context.
You will play a key role in producing accurate performance data, support monthly reporting cycles, lead on ERIC data collation and validation, and ensure the integrity of key financial information used by senior leaders. You will also support contract performance monitoring, helping the Trust maintain oversight of contractor spend, KPI delivery and payment accuracy.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a passion for data quality to play a critical role in shaping E&F performance, compliance and financial accountability. If you thrive in a fast‑paced environment and enjoy turning complex data into meaningful insight, we would love to hear from you.
The post holder will provide essential analytical and financial support to the Estates & Facilities (E&F) Directorate, ensuring the accuracy, integrity and timely production of key financial and performance data. Core duties include preparing monthly financial reports, forecasts, variance analysis and performance packs, as well as supporting budget holders with operational finance queries, coding checks and expenditure reviews. The role leads on ERIC data collation, validation and submission, ensuring full compliance with national requirements. The post holder will also support contract performance monitoring by reviewing contractor spend, KPIs and payment accuracy. Duties include processing invoices, maintaining audit trails, analysing trends, identifying data inconsistencies, and escalating risks as needed. The role requires strong analytical skills, high attention to detail and the ability to communicate financial and operational information clearly to both finance and non‑finance colleagues.
