Support worker needed 5 hours per week term time £14.50 ph
I am a 17 year old young boy with Autism and ADHD. I live in the Merthyr Vale area with my family. Im looking for a personal assistant for 5 hours per week during term time. I spend a lot of time on screens, computer and phone, to have a break from this I would really like for someone to take me out in the community to have socialisation. I love animals, fishing, sports and keeping fit. I have no problem communicating and would like someone understanding and enthusiastic about the things we can do and places to visit.
Tasks and Duties
To assist me and promote my independence in accessing the local community and surrounding areas.
Working Hours/Rate of pay
£14.50 and £0.40 pence per mile for any mileage
5 hours per week term time (39 weeks per annum).
Can be worked flexible
Type of person required
Candidate must be over 18 years of age
Someone who is enthusiastic and fun to be around.
Someone who has previous experience of working with children with additional needs and behavioural challenges.
Full UK Driving licence Essential
Reliability is essential
Training is accessible if required for the job role
Additional Information
Successful applicants will be subject to a three month trial period
A DBS check will be required, this will be at no cost to yourself
