Location: Eastbourne
Pay: £120–£160/day (DOE)

Luma Education Recruitment is seeking an experienced Cover Supervisor to join a supportive school. You’ll oversee lessons, manage behaviour, and support pupils of all abilities, helping them thrive in a positive, inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise whole classes during teacher absence, ensuring pupils remain on task
• Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development as directed
• Lead small group interventions if required, under teacher guidance
• Promote and maintain a calm, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:
• Prior experience providing cover in a school setting
• Flexible, proactive, and confident supervising classes
• Positive, patient, and resilient approach to supporting pupils
• Able to follow lesson plans and school guidance
• Enhanced DBS (on Update Service) required
