NOW HIRING: Administrative Officer - Finance (Temporary Ongoing)

Full‑Time | No Weekends | Excellent Opportunity Within a Public‑Sector Environment

We are recruiting on behalf of our public sector client for an experienced Administrative Officer to join the Finance Branch. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong organisational and coordination skills who is seeking a long‑term temporary role with stability and development.

Location: FCAD, Newforge (Free parking available)
Hours: Full‑time, Monday-Friday
Contract: Temporary Ongoing
Level: Administrative Officer (AO)

Main Duties

You will support the Finance System Project Manager by providing essential administrative and coordination support, including:

  • Maintaining project plans, trackers, risk & issue logs, and governance documentation
  • Assisting with project reporting and progress updates
  • Organising meetings, including project boards, and preparing accurate minutes
  • Ensuring key documentation is managed effectively and updated regularly
  • Providing general administrative support to keep the project running smoothly

Essential Criteria

To be considered, you must have:

  • Two GCSEs, including Maths and English (Grade C or equivalent)
  • At least 6 months' experience in an administrative support role
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with colleagues and external
