It serves the three local villages of Blidworth, Rainworth and Ravenshead and has around 1370 students.We are seeking to appoint a Sports College Duty Officer to cover absence and sickness when needed. The successful applicant will ensure the smooth and effective day to day management of the Joseph Whitaker Sports college sports facilities, acting as the shift leader. Provide a high standard of customer care and ensure that quality standards are maintained throughout the facilities supporting the School and community programmes.About the Sports College:In July 2006 the Joseph Whitaker School took responsibility for the sports facilities on site during evenings, weekends and school holidays. Our main aim is to offer a high-quality programme of sports and facilities to all our community whatever their age or ability in order to promote health, wellbeing and social inclusion.We pride ourselves in working with our partner clubs to support their development, our community to encourage their engagement in sport, our involvement in disability sport and our School Holiday Programmes.Our lettings are open 7 days a week, variable at weekend, with closures only during bank holidays and extended opening hours during school holidays.
