You will be an experienced, empathetic and self-motivated manager with a strong strategic understanding of the changing higher education landscape and the contribution libraries can make to both research and education, including through the application of technology and open scholarship. You will have a collaborative, user-focussed approach and be able to communicate and influence effectively at all levels within the University.
Reporting directly to the Director of Library, Learning Support and Cultural Services, you will provide leadership to the library-focussed teams within the directorate, comprising ca 29 FTE colleagues, and directly line-manage 5 functional service Heads - Acquisitions and Content Delivery, Customer Services, Research Support, Teaching & Engagement, and the Library Digital Services Manager.
