Allstaff Finance & Accountancy Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of Ledger Clerk in East Kilbride.
Job description
Reporting directly into the Finance Manager and working closely with other business stakeholders, this role is considered a key appointment within our growing group.
This will be on a temporary basis for a couple of months to cover a busy period.
The Role
• Involves working in a fast paced and high-volume environment
• Purchase ledger and invoice processing
• Statement reconciliations
• Credit receipt allocation
• Credit control
• Complete special projects as needed, and as other duties are assigned
• Compiling and analysing financial information, reporting results to finance business partners
• General admin and other ad hoc duties
Experience Required:
• The ideal candidate will have had experience within a finance function, ideally including both sales and purchase ledgers.
• You will be flexible and adaptable to work within a fast-paced and busy environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; some experience with SAGE 200 accounting software is a plus
• Ability to multitask and has the flexibility to complete a variety of projects
• Capability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities
• Experience working as a ledger clerk within a high-volume finance environment
• Experience processing multi-currency transactional finance activity
Salary: £27,000–£29,000 DOE
