Wanted: Carer/Personal Assistant
Carer needed for male wheelchair user with Muscular Dystrophy living independently in Loftus, Saltburn by the Sea TS13
We are looking for a new member of staff with a positive attitude and good sense of humour to join our small team of carers to enable the gentleman to live a full life. We need to fill 8 shifts a month totaling 82 hours at £13.35 ph. Shifts are on a 4 week rolling basis:
Week 1: Saturday 9am – 7pm 10 hours
Sunday 9am – 7 pm 10 hours
Week 2: Wednesday 7pm – 9 am 14 hours
Friday 9 am – 7 pm 10 hours
Week 3: Friday 9 am – 7 pm 10
Week 4: Wednesday 7 pm - 9 am 14 hours
Thursday 7 pm - 9 am 14 hours
Extra hours may also be available in the form of on-call or holiday cover. The successful candidate needs to be flexible and able to be 'on call' for 4 shifts during the 4 week rolling period to cover if another team member is unwell. Standard holiday entitlement is available.
Experience preferred but not essential as on the job training would be given for the right person.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
