Previous warehouse experience is preferred, along with a good understanding of materials handling and warehouse procedures.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick and pack orders according to specified requirements using warehouse management systems
- Load and unload goods safely, employing appropriate manual handling techniques.
- Manage stock levels through accurate stocking, replenishment, and inventory checks
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and quality control checks
- Ensure all items are stored correctly, maintaining organisation within the warehouse
- Conduct regular quality inspections to identify damaged or defective products
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the work area at all times
- Support team members in achieving daily operational targets
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is highly desirable
- Knowledge of materials handling, picking & packing, and stock management procedures
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and load/unload items regularly
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for inventory accuracy
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
