Luma Education Recruitment is looking for a proactive Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive SEN school. Working with pupils, including those with SEN, SEMH, ASD, and ADHD, and make a real difference every day to support thier learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support
Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons
Implement behaviour strategies (PRICE/TeamTeach experience desirable)
Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
Help maintain a calm, positive classroom environment
Requirements:
Flexible and adaptable to different classroom environments
Positive, encouraging attitude to help children reach their potential
School or youth work experience
Confident supporting pupils with behavioural needs
Patient, resilient, and proactive approach
Vetting & Safeguarding - DBS on the Update Service (required prior to starting)
PRICE or TeamTeach training (advantage but no essential)
