Remuneration: £30,353 per annum (salary during 6-month probation period)

£31,871 per annum (upon completion of successful probation)

About the Role

Hanover are excited to be recruiting for a Housing Assistant based at our North Area office in Elgin.

The Housing Assistant provides advice on rents, service charges, estate management issues arrears and credits management as well as assisting with welfare benefits, and any other relevant matters.

Taking responsibility for any service-related complaints or queries received from our tenants, the successful candidate will ensure that the overall experience we provide is positive, professional and managed to our standard. Part of this role shall entail dealing with matters arising from our 0800-phone system and acting as a first response to callers.

Additionally, the Housing Assistant will collaborate with a Housing team and external parties who support our Development Managers and Housing Officer.

About You

Hanover are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in an office and procedural based role.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Proficient digital skills.
• A demonstrable ability to learn bespoke database systems.
• A demonstrable ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision.
• Ability to work from home in a professional manner as and when reasonably required.
• Ability to work from the office as and when reasonably required.
