Job Summary
We are a leading property maintenance company, dedicated to providing a high-quality property maintenance service to the lettings industry.

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Property Maintenance Technician to join our team on a full time, self employed basis.
The successful candidate should be highly organised, committed to providing a professional high quality service at all times. As the role is extremely varied an all round knowledge in general property maintenance is essential, together with excellent problem-solving skills to minimise downtime and optimise productivity.

The position is based on a full time, self employed role, payment structure to be discussed at interview stage.

Responsibilities

Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on residential/ and or commercial properties.
A multi-skilled approach to all works, implementing effective repair solutions as and when required to do so.
Basic property maintenance, including plumbing and electrical works
Perform welding, electrical repairs, mechanical adjustments, and component replacements as needed.
Ensure properties meet safety, health and compliance standards.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance work, repairs, and inspections for compliance and reporting purposes, via tablet diary.
Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with health and safety legislation, promoting a safe working environment.
Skills

Strong knowledge of property maintenance, basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical works.
Ability to read and follow instructions via a tablet diary, also knowledge of reporting into the office via tablet diary, in terms of write up and photographs of works.
Excellent trouble shooting and problem solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
Physical ability to lift, bend, climb ladders and perform manual labour as and when required.
Proven experience in property maintenance.
Excellent command of English language skills for documentation and communication purposes.
Valid driver's license.
