Summary
Please note: at this stage, the role is open only to colleagues currently employed within Kent and Medway NHS Trusts and the Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (ICB). Nursing vacancies are also open to Student Nurses and Newly Qualified Nurses.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 5 Physiotherapist to join our Pulmonary Rehabilitation team based at Whitstable and Tankerton Hospital. This role offers the chance to specialise in chronic respiratory disease management while making a meaningful difference to patients across East Kent.
Our Pulmonary Rehabilitation teams deliver high‑quality, evidence‑based programmes that support patients with chronic respiratory conditions to improve their functional ability, manage breathlessness and enhance their overall quality of life. Working in a community setting, you will assess, treat and empower patients to achieve their goals through tailored exercise and education programmes.

You will work alongside an experienced and supportive team including Band 7 and Band 6 Physiotherapists, Therapy Assistant Practitioners and dedicated administrative staff. The service is actively involved in developing the respiratory pathway across Kent and works closely with integrated care partners to ensure seamless, patient‑centred care.

We welcome applications from newly qualified or current Band 5 Physiotherapists looking to specialise in respiratory care. A car driver or access to transport is essential. Hours are flexible, from22.5 to 37.5 per week, and working patterns can be discussed at interview.
