About the Role
As a Carpenter/Joiner, you'll play a key part in delivering first‑class services to our customers. You'll carry out a wide range of carpentry tasks - from installing cabinets and mouldings to building frameworks and bespoke furniture. No two days will be the same, and you'll work closely with designers, planners, and the wider construction team to bring projects to life.This role may work across multiple contracts, offering variety, stability, and long‑term career opportunities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Interpreting client requirements and producing mock‑ups for approval
- Building and installing cabinets, vanities, surrounds, mouldings, and bespoke furniture
- Framing room additions and carrying out first‑ and second‑fix carpentry
- Measuring, selecting, shaping, and preparing materials
- Replacing or repairing damaged woodwork, floors, and external structures
- Constructing shuttering and structural frameworks
- Ordering materials and ensuring accurate installation
- Collaborating with designers, planners, and construction teams
- Ensuring all work meets safety standards, building codes, and best practice guidelines
- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining strong client relationships
- Completing snagging and remedial work to a high standard
- What We're Looking For
- Full UK driving licence (required)
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Joinery (required)
- CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card (required)
- Previous experience as a qualified Joiner in the construction industry (preferred)
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering excellent workmanship
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions confidently
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
