Location: Croydon - CR0
Contract: Long‑term, full‑time (Temp to Perm opportunity)
Start date: ASAP
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience - (Umbrella or PAYE)
About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Primary Class Teacher with strong SEN experience to join a specialist independent SEND provision in the Croydon area. This is a long‑term role with the potential to move into a permanent position for the right candidate.
You will be working with pupils who require a tailored, holistic approach to learning, using creativity, structure, and therapeutic strategies to support their academic and personal development. The school offers excellent support from a multi‑disciplinary team and values teachers who are nurturing, resilient and passionate about inclusive education.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
- Strong experience working with SEN pupils (ASD, SEMH, cognitive & communication needs)
- Ability to deliver engaging, differentiated learning for small class groups
- Confident managing additional adults in the classroom
- A calm, patient and child‑centred approach
- Available to start immediately
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
- Easily contactable references from your two most recent employers (we must clear candidates for registration ASAP)
