About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Chef to join our team and take ownership of our chef specialities, focusing on high-quality pub food. If you have a flair for creating traditional dishes with a modern twist and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
*Develop and contribute ideas for new "chef specialities" and seasonal specials.
*Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations.
*Manage stock control and minimise waste.
*Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
Requirements
*Proven experience as a Chef, specifically within a pub or gastropub setting.
*A strong understanding of pub food classics and ingredients.
*Ability to work 37.5 hours per week on a rota basis (evenings and weekends may be required).
*Excellent time management and leadership skills.
